아트북《컨티뉴엄: 시간의 결》은 흘러가는 시간의 흔적과 그 내면에 축적된 다층적 기억의 공간을 시각적으로 증명하는 예술적 실천의 기록이다. 이번 전시에 참여하는 작가들은 연대기적인 시간의 흐름을 따르는 데 그치지 않고, 각자의 고유한 매체를 통해 과거와 현재, 미래가 교차하는 중첩된 레이어들을 새롭게 재구성해 내고자한다. 캔버스 위 물질의 축적된 질감, 이미지의 중첩, 혹은 부재와 현존 사이에 엮인 기억의 파편들은 눈에 보이지 않는 시간의 두께를 다차원적으로 실체화하기 때문이다. 이처럼 시간의 층위는 과거에 박제된 유물이 아니라 끊임없이 재해석되는 역동적인 삶의 흐름이며, 나아가 우리가 마주하는 현대를 성찰하는 미학적 대화의 장을 형성한다.

The art book 《Continuum: Layers of Time》 stands as a visual testament to the artistic practices that materialize the traces of passing phases and the intricate terrains of memory abiding within. Moving beyond a chronological progression of time, we invite participating artists to reconstruct the overlapping layers where the past, present, and future intersect, utilizing their own distinct mediums. We look forward to works that multi-dimensionally substantiate the invisible thickness of time—whether through the accumulated texture of materials on canvas, the superposition of images, or the fragments of memory woven between absence and presence. The layers of time are not fixed relics of the past, but rather a dynamic flow of moments continually being rewritten, offering a space for aesthetic dialogue that reflects upon our contemporary era.
